Jakarta The comparison between the average increase in wages of workers with an average increase in property prices raises the anxiety that millennial generations will have difficulty owning homes.
But in fact, the survey conducted Rumah.com shows that people still have the optimism to have a dream home.

Ike Hamdan, Head of Marketing of Rumah.com said that Rumah.com as the leader of the online property market in Indonesia always takes an active role to know the current condition of the property industry in Indonesia.
"In addition to Rumah.com Property Index that shows the movement of the property market from the supply side, the survey Rumah.com Property Affordability Sentiment Index H2-2017 is intended to determine the market response from the demand side. Thus, Rumah.com can provide quality advocacy for consumers in terms of decision to have a home or other occupancy, "he explained.
Rumah.com Property Affordability Sentiment Index H2-2017 is a periodical survey held twice a year by Rumah.com in cooperation with research institute Intuit Research, Singapore.

Ike added that the level of public satisfaction with the government's efforts to provide affordable housing is even above the average, although through a number of events that are predicted to affect the condition of the national property industry.
Such post-election political situation, as well as annual events such as Idul Fitri Day predicted to affect the rate of inflation.
"As many as 54% of respondents were satisfied with the government's efforts in making the home more affordable. This is a rather drastic increase compared to the survey in the second half of 2016, where the level of public satisfaction is only 36%.
"This level of satisfaction is reflected in the planned purchase of property in the next six months, of which 59% of survey respondents plan to buy property," Ike explained.
He added for property developers, the results of this survey show a positive outlook in the property market, at least in the next six months.
More specifically, the hunted property within the next six to twelve months is a property under the price of Rp700 million. The options can be checked directly at New Housing Rumah.com.
Starting from Kingland Avenue, Proland Cibinong, Botania Lake Residence, Grand Depok City, Bhumi Amala Residence, The Villas Townhouse, Bumiland Jatimurni, Green Caraka Residence, to Metland Cileungsi.
Government Regulation of Successful Persuasion
People's optimism towards the property market in the future can not be separated from a number of policies launched by the government.
For Low-Income Communities (MBR) with a maximum income of Rp 4 million, the government launched a subsidized house program at a price below Rp200 million with a down payment of only 1% and fixed installment interest.
"While for middle-class people, who can not take home subsidies but have difficulty following mortgage requirements such as a minimum downpayment of 15%, they can follow the home ownership program of the Workers' Social Security Agency (BPJS-TK) with a down payment of 5% and installments based on Bank Indonesia's interest rate plus 3%, "Ike explained.
Government policies in infrastructure also affect people's optimism towards the national property market. The construction of toll roads and public transportation means that locations that were once considered to be ideal would be more ideal, which had been hard to reach became more accessible.
These locations have a much more affordable price than a downtown residence, giving a greater expectation for those who are struggling to have a dream home.
"Property developers, certainly do not turn a blind eye to the ability of the market. Therefore, they also adjusted the target market by enlarging the supply for the middle class. No need to worry, diligently seek information and do the right consideration, millenial generation can still have a home, "Ike asserted.
He added: "For millennially literate generation the technology can find out their new affordable financial dwellings by accessing Rumah.com enough from smartphone or computer devices.
Rumah.com presents more than 400,000 property data sold and leased from across Indonesia, with over 17 million pages visited each month and accessed by over 5.5 million monthly searchers each month. "
